Annabelle Explores A Green Rooftop Garden In The Bronx

A blog from Wa$ted's Annabelle Gurwitch: Miquela Craytor is the executive director of Sustainable South Bronx. I visited several locations, including something I never imagined existed- a beautiful waterfront park- part of the new �greenway� in the Bronx, and met students at BEST Academy. Here we are on the first green roof on a government building in the South Bronx. I also got to play ping pong, Mancala, and dance with kids at the Boys and Girls club in Throggs Neck, to see me embarrass myself and get a gander at the Greenway, you can go on the website.
